'Little Joof ' was born in Windhoek, Namibia on the 31st March 1979. He is the eldest of the Lamprecht's 3 children and accompanied 'Pappa Joof' on hunting excursions from a very young age, including a hunt in Zimbabwe when he was 5.

Jofie shot his first buffalo at age 13. He excelled at swimming and rugby at school and represented Namibia in these sports in South Africa, Swaziland and Brazil. He spent a semester as an exchange student in Germany, and was elected leader of the Student Council during his final year at Windhoek High School.

He studied law and played rugby at the University of Cape Town. He went on to complete courses in Hotel Management, Tourism and Wine Studies. While still a student he worked at the five star Oudekraal Hotel in Cape Town and, once qualified, at the Arabella Sheraton near Hermanus.
Jofie joined the Hunters Namibia team as P. H. and business partner in 2002.

He is a dynamic and outgoing young man who enjoys every aspect of the safari business, especially sharing his knowledge of his country, the wildlife and environment with hunting clients. Jofie is passionate about good wine and food as well as excellent standards of service. He therefore compliments his parents well in the family business.
