To the Cast and Crew of Hunters Namibia Safaris, I am very happy to report that the 'Classic African Safari' is not only alive, but doing well and thriving in Namibia! Thanks for the love and relentless efforts of the Captain and Crew of H. N. S. The moment was just too BIG! Love, Lanny Molnar - Hampton Bay, New York P.S. See you again in April 2007 Lynne.Molnar@orcww.com
Dear Marina, Joof and Jofie, We're not in the bush today, on our last day with you, and already I'm experiencing withdrawal symptoms. Born and raised in West Africa, it was so good to return 'home' to the sights, sounds, touch and smell of Africa again. Namibia is beautiful, and so are you. Lynne "Shortly" Molnar Lynne.Molnar@orcww.com
Dear Joof, Marina and Jofie, Thank you so much for helping create such wonderful memories. Your lodge, staff and the hunting went way beyond our wildest expectations. The culinary experience was fabulous....we have now broadened our experiences and tastes and can take some of that home with us. We can't wait to adorn our walls with the wonderful trophies Tim shot. It definitely was a 'fair chase' safari. We WILL return! Thanks, Tim and Krystal Keidel - Mandan, North Dakota tkeidel@earthlink.net
The Lamprecht Family & Staff: The first afternoon drive through the bush with the blue sky, grass, trees, abundance of game, and then the giraffe. This is a memory Karl and I will have for the rest of our lives. This Safari has exceeded all our expectations. Jofie said to me he rated the sable stalk the best. I think my favorite memory will be the three and a half hour stalk for the bull eland, with us running out of day light. I am sure Karl’s best memory will be that very blind warthog. We will all remember Karl’s shot at the baboon, and Johnnie and Willy pulling the live baboon out of the cave by the tail. Karl and I have traveled all over the World, hunting and fishing. Henok, your meals were the best of all. You are a truly talented chef. We will return. Thank you, Tom & Karl - San Francisco, CA TAitchison@THARCO.com

Dear Joof, Marina & Jofie, What a wonderful experience we have enjoyed with you and your marvelous staff! Thank you for making early air arrangements for us under difficult circumstances. What a beautiful country and ranch you have. The flowers, photos, decor and cuisine were ‘top-notch’. We hope to return some day. P.S. The hunting was exceptional and we appreciated the nature info. Best wishes to you. Bob & Becky Bledsoe rkbledsoe@plains.net
Dear Joof, Marina and Jofie, We enjoyed your super hospitality - the hunting, lodge, staff and surroundings are superior to anything we have experienced. The culinary experience was outstanding - always looking forward to the next meal! The whole hunting area is a paradise - thank you so much! Best Regards, Sue Ann and Tom Tate - Los Angeles, CA thetates@att.net
Dear Marina and Joof, Thank you for such a wonderful time. Your hospitality and quality operation are amongst the best in Africa. I did not know what to expect upon arrival, but you have exceeded my imagination. T hanks you for everything, especially the little details and most of all for accommodating Bob and Becky in their trials. I look forward to coming again and going after the sable and maybe an elephant and lion. Take care, and may the Lord continue to bless you both and your family. Special regards, Kelly Keithly - Holtville, CA kgkeithly@keithlywilliams.com
To All of You at Hunters Namibia, Our stay these short ten days has simply been a wonderful experience and African Adventure for Tatiana and I. What makes anything special are the details, and at Hunters Namibia there is no shortage of details. From the wake-up morning tea, the fresh linen and laundry, the room decorations, the fabulous meals prepared by Henok, the midday siesta, the evening sundowners at the fire, and, above all, the spectacular hunting, were all as one dreams of when being on safari in Africa. I just don't know how Joof can expect anyone "to not get so ... excited!", especially me! "There's a good one!" There's another good one!" "Kudu, kudu, kudu!" My sincere thanks to everyone for making our safari one to remember forever. Fred R. Kloos - Smithsburg, MD, USA hntrfrkls@pennswoods.net
I feel fortunate that I was able to meet such remarkable people in my life, who have changed me in such a good way! Thanks to Joof, Marina, Jofie, Henok and Olivia for this wonderful time. From Russia with love, Tatiana Popova Popova_TM@nomos.ru P.S. Joof said to me when I arrived at Hunters Namibia that I'll not be the same again after this trip - and he proved to be right!
Marina, Joof, Jofie and Staff, My first African Safari will not be forgotten!! Your country, lodge, animals and staff and all 1st class. In hockey terms your operation is a 'pure hat trick' - meaning the best of the best, accomplished by few.! Keep the wind in your face, the sun at your back and always the Lord in your heart. Thank You and God Bless. Mark Fountain - Montgomery, MA mark@fountain-plating.com

Dear Special People, This is such a special place in God's beautiful word. It's more than Jim and I had possibly imagined. You've put so much of yourselves and your dreams into your lovely ranch "Rooikraal", and now we have special memories that you have shared with us - we'll dream of your Africa! You've taken such special care of us. Jim would like to say a special thanks to Joof for putting up with 'hopalong' and turning an accident into a big success with splendid trophies, lots of laughs and many lessons learned. Marina and Joof - a special thanks for sharing your family and making us feel so comfortable and a part of all of you. Your staff is very special and caring. The beautiful lodge, excellent cuisine, awesome scenery and "animals, animals, animals" will be kept alive with your photos and CD/DVD's to relive and share our African dream over and over. You are dear, special people and 'our special friends'. Thanks Jofie, Hanns-Louis and Nichol for being part of this joy! Thank you all for the gift of your Namibia - love and friendship to you and yours. Bobi and Jim DeKleinhans Hagerman, Idaho jimbobi@hotmail.com
Dear Marina, Joof, Jofie and Hanns-Louis, Who would believe that I, a 67 year old American woman who has never shot before, could shoot the biggest, ugliest old warthog and just be so excited. What a moment that was! Jofie, I thank you for your patience, guidance and skills. You are wise beyond your young years. I did it! We have seen so many herds of oryx, wildebeest, etc. The numbers and variety of game are staggering. The animals truly take your breath away. And what can I say about giraffe. I will always remember you all. Your warm hospitality, great stories and incredible food. I thank you all. I return to NH to sharpen my skills, buy another rifle and then return! Anne Smith
I knew a safari with HUNTERS NAMIBIA SAFARIS would be a wonderful experience when we met in Reno. My expectations have been exceeded from the moment of our arrival. Each morning starts with a wonderful view of the beautiful country and abundant animals. The variety of game seen each day is a constant joy. Every day has many things to remember - the hunting, the meals, the evening fires and conversation. Many thanks to Marina for your hospitality, to Joof for your entertaining stories of Namibia and hunting, and to Jofie for the beautiful photographs and the hours of careful stalking that resulted in many fabulous trophies. Kirk Smith. Anne and Kirk Smith - North Conway, NH KirkWSmith@aol.com
Dear Marina and Joof and the entire Hunters Namibia Staff, All those that have written in this book before me have used up all the superlatives that I know, so I'll be brief. I won't mention Joof's encyclopedic knowledge of the land and all its plant and animal life, or his intense hunting passion or expertise. I won't mention the total ease with which he, Johnny and Abiud accomplished every hunting task. Nor will I mention the perfectly detailed hospitality which Marina and her lodge staff displayed at every moment of the day. I'm not going to say anything about the astounding quantity and quality of the game or the spectacular and exotic bird life. Neither will I bring up the stunningly beautiful lodge, not the very well thought out, well-planned and well executed support facilities. Neither will I mention your land itself, which provides true testimony to what can be done by a family with a belief in conservation and a deep sense of stewardship for the land. I won't say anything about any of these things. All that will say is that coming to Rooikraal is the best trip I have ever made and that I eagerly anticipate my return here. With fondness & appreciation. Paul Norris - Monroe, Louisiana

Dear Joof, Marina and Jofie, Thank you for fulfilling a childhood dream of vast savannahs, beautiful sunsets, magnificent game and magical memories! A father's dream is to share these experiences with his son - you made this dream come true beyond my wildest expectations. I cannot imagine the stories my son will one day tell his children and grandchildren about his safari in the Kalahari. You can, however, be assured they will a lifelong treasure for both of us! You have been so gracious and kind and lots of fun and laughter! Joof's stories are great and Jofie you are a treasure. Marina, I cant find words to say what a warm and wonderful lady you are! I told Jofie there weren't adjectives enough to describe Namibia, nor are there words enough to tell you how I fell about you, our magnificent hosts. If God is willing, we shall return as I have left a piece of my heart here at Rooikraal and with you all. Love, hugs and blessings to you and your staff. Mell Savrini - Prescott, Arizona msavoini@cableone.net

Dear Joof, Marina and Jofie, Thank you so much for allowing us to visit this very special country of yours. We have seen so many things and enjoyed so many wonderful experiences that we will treasure forever. We really feel as if we have seen a great deal of your country from your ranch to Windhoek to Swakopmund and Etosha. It has been tremendous. However wonderful the sights were to see, nothing can compare with the hospitality that you all afforded us. Jofie was unbelievably patient with Hudson, a great professional hunter and a professional photographer. We could not have had a better time. It is obvious that Jofie has been very well trained by the two of you. He is a consummate professional, just like to two of you, with incredible character and integrity. These days have been a great blessing to us!!!! Tom and Hudson (10) Leiser - Dallas, Texas TLeiser@banderaventures.com

Dear Jofie, Thank you for sharing your Garden of Eden. Thank you for your hospitality, your whole attention to us made us feel really special… not just another unknown client. The lessons I’ve learnt reflect the confidence that you project. There was never a doubt that we would get our trophies and make good shots. Best wishes for a wonderful future. I look forward to visiting with you again. Pam Gifford
Jofie, Thanks for a super Safari. Superb trophies, cuisine and professional hunting. Greg Gifford safari1@1scom.net
I loved going out everyday and seeing all the animals and birds and watching the trees turning green. I learnt so much about all of them from Joof. It was great going into Windhoek with Jofie so we could see a little of life outside the hunting area and shop for some beautiful things to bring home. Evenings were like being at home, sitting around the fire with dogs in our laps, or at our feet, talking and laughing with friends. But it was more than just talking and laughing because we learned so much about Africa and its people from Joof and Marina.
And Chef Henok’s gourmet meals were so delicious. Who would have ever guessed zebra would taste so good! Thank you Joof, Marina and Jofie for making this such a wonderful experience. Nel Johns
This Safari was a lifelong dream and who says dreams don’t come true. Both Nel and I so much enjoyed everything, the experiences hunting, stories & people. Our stay here at Hunters Namibia Safari was like no other that we’ve experienced. We were treated like family & Kings & Queens. Joof, Marina & Jofie, thank you again for a dream hunt that came true. Bob Johns - New Hampshire

Dear Lamprecht Family, It was a treat being at Rooikraal - the hospitality was overwhelming. My personal and professional thanks for the great work you are doing in the education of Namibian children. Your school's facilities and its adjacent gardens are an example for all schools to emulate. Joof, they may joke about your 'diplomatic' skills - but just keep on attracting major American hunters to Namibia. The honour and service that you are doing for your country are more than some professional diplomats can do! As for Marina - you are the best promoter I ever had!!Please keep on connecting me to the professional bodies, schools and communities. Jofie, Michelle and Hanns-Louis - the future is on your side. May luck follow you wherever you may go! Thanks a million for the invitation and the hospitality - we will always remember our early Christmas party with you and the children of your private school. Nangolo Mbumba, Member of Parliament, Minister of Education of the Republic of Namibia
