To everyone who made this a special trip: It is impossible to describe all aspects of the experience.... The sights, the sounds, the tastes, but most of all the people. Namibia will stay in my heart forever. Every attention to detail was perfected, and we enjoyed every part of the trip. Mary Ann Amos - Kansas City

Dear Jofie and Monica, Joof and Marina, Mary Ann, Luke and I had a most wonderful time. Seeing and hunting the high quality animals was most exciting. Dave, Mary Ann and Luke Amos - Kansas City damos@kceyeclinic.com

Dear Jofie, Monica, Joof, Marina and dogs, Thank you very much for hosting my first trip to Africa.  Everything was more than I could have hoped for.  From the food, to the hunting, and the beach house, everything was wonderful.  I look forward to my return trip. Luke Amos amosl@kenyon.edu

Dear Joof and Marina, As the French would say "Chapeau"!!  meaning "I take my hat off to you" for a wonderful stay.  Between Joof's hunting skills, Johnny's incredible eyes, and marina's charming hostess know-how, we loved every minute. We will see you again. Lynne 'Shorty' Molnar - New York lfmolnar@earthlink.net

This is better than 5 star! Hunters Namibia Safaris  has achieved this rating by earning it!The Hunt, the Accommodations, the Staff, the Company, Marina's special touches - I can't say more, 5 stars says it all! Good luck to Chris and Michelle, Jofie and Monica. See you all again soon. Lanny Molnar  (a.k.a. 1 Shot!) - New York lfmolnar@earthlink.net

Marina and Joof, There could not have been a better beginning to Joe's and my honeymoon than spending it here with you.We are off to a good start in our marriage and we hope that it can be as happy and successful as yours. Thank you for everything.  See you in January. Love, Ali Sisca - New York joeali1@earthlink.net

Joof and Marina, So comes the end of my second safari with Hunters Namibia Safaris. But this was no ordinary safari because this was the introduction of my wife Carolyn to hunting. There is no where better to make an introduction than with you and your team at Hunters Namibia Safaris. I am forever grateful to Joof for the gentleness, patience and good humour he displayed in helping Carolyn   understand and appreciate the sporting life that is so deeply important to me.
Marina supplied the greatest of attention to detail in providing the delicious meals, sumptuous accommodations and all-around luxury that made my wife feel honoured and pampered. Carolyn and I have already been discussing our return and both agree that it can't happen soon enough. Thanks friends, we hope to see you again in the not too distant future. Dear Marina and Joof, The beauty and power of Africa is embodied in the lodge and land that you have developed. The views are so immense and wide.  The light and the quality of the air create a melody that will remain with me always.  The routine and orderliness of the days is addictive.  You are responsible for a beautiful, beautiful thing! Joof's extraordinary appreciation for every living thing on the property and his marvellous font of knowledge about the animals and flora added tremendous depth to the experience here.  I was a little fearful that the whole hunting business might be off-putting to me but it is done with such respect for the 'cycle of life' that it actually honoured the animals and was not in the least off-putting.  Joof's keen sense of humour and ability as a storyteller made each outing fun as well as educational. Marina, your beguiling personality, your intelligence, your acute understanding of the people and your wealth of abilities and interests have earned my profound respect and affection.  You are truly a woman of substance. The freshness of the food, the perfection of its preparation, the lavishness of the menus was beyond my expectations and anything I have experienced.  The staff's attitude and competence was superlative.  And to top is all off the conviviality of the hosts made each meal something to be relished on every level. This trip was a honeymoon trip that lived up to my expectations.  I imagine that is a rare thing.  The memory of our safari with Hunters Namibia will forever enhance our lives and make us glad to be alive. Thank you! Carolyn Campbell - Nashville, TN  ccinteriors@aol.com

Dear Joof, Marina and Jofie,
Thank you so much for the opportunity to spend a few days with you - your place is paradise.  We enjoyed the time in the bush with the Count and Jofie. The animals and habitat show how great you are as stewards of the land. We both are looking forward to working with you in helping the children of Namibia. We appreciate the chance to extend our mission to you country. God bless! Hector Kitscha - ctravel@execpc.com  Phil Rank - lrank@maqs.net - One Shot Hunt Club - Hales Corners, Wisconsin

Dear Marina and Joof, I return to Spain with wonderful feelings from my first Africa hunt!  I shall be back soon.
The hunting with Jofie has resulted in an unforgettable human and hunting experience: fun; an intensive short course of African hunting; a permanent feeling of safety and to be in good hands; and his mature as well as sporting attitude towards what hunting must be. With very kind regards, Alvaro Maranon, The Count of Retamoso - Madrid, Spain

Dear Marina and Joof, "A dream come true". I am sure many have said that about coming here on safari, but for Marc and I there is no question.  Forty four years ago, while dating, he shared with me this dream - and here we are! Finding your booth at SCI in 2006 was a gift from God.  Booking the trip with Tom and Patricia and then saving, planning and all the excitement that goes with it has really paid off.  We will treasure this experience as a true 'dream come true'. Joof - you are so passionate about the country, all the animals from the tiniest to the largest, the development of the land and the people - we have learned so much from you.  You teach by example.  Your 'tidbits' and short stops were highlights of each hunting outing.  As far as the actual hunting, your patience and wisdom made it successful.  We are truly better hunters and better messengers to carry the love of hunting to others.  Your chats around the fire, the table and at dinner were delightful and so honest..... we felt genuine friendship.  Your 'tough' attitude' is really a 'soft' aspect of you that we will treasure. Marina - what can I say?  You are such a gracious hostess - always prepared, always smiling and genuinely caring.  The meals were not only fantastic, but also varied and inspiring.  I can hardly wait to try the recipes.  Our shopping day was a highlight - a marvelous fun day with two very dear friends. The staff was wonderful, attentive and warm.  I couldn't help but feel the affection and respect that they have for both of you, and that you openly show to and for them.  That touches my heart. I will remember the laughs, the wonderful rides on the hunting truck, all the things I learned, the beauty of your country, the thrill of the actual hunt, your beautiful lodge and its peaceful ambience, the Namibia people and the pride you all have in your wonderful country. Thanks for making a dream come true.
Friends always, Karen Worswick - San Ramon California  kwors@comcast.net

Dear Marina and Joof, This has been my dream for 50 years.  I wish I could have brought my Dad before he died.  I have my best friend and wife here to live the dream. It was great that the girls participated on every hunt. Both you and your staff have made this the best vacation I have ever had. The hunting was great, and what an education!  Joof was the best! The food and accommodation were far better than the Ritz Carlton. Thank you very much for every thing. 'Until we meet again, happy trails to you!'. Marc  Worswick - San Ramon, California

Dear Everyone, How fortunate we were to book our safari with you. It was supposed to be Intimidating. Gruff Joof  - who is a teddy bear on the inside, has filled our hardrive with information.  Responsible hunting is conserving the animals.  Don't ever lose the passion for the cycle of life. There is too much to say.  All the lovely, special, very personal surprises daily by the elegant Marina. Johnny's eyes and intuition. Petrus, the skinner's skill, artistry and genuine pride in his work. Lachia's smile in the morning. Words cannot describe the food, cookies, pictures, and animals, how special we have felt.  What an emotional, humbling experience to share with old friends. With so much appreciation and gratitude. Patricia Beltz-Moore  a.k.a 'the blond' - Portland, Oregon mbm@teleport.com

Thank you for the quintessential African experience! What an abundance of healthy game of impressive quality and diversity. Having  Joof as my PH was perfect for my first Safari. A stalwart man with decades of experience, yet as kind and knowledgeable as my favorite teacher - and looking like he just stepped out of a classic African novel. Marina, your graciousness was all I could expect from a hostess in any of the great cities of the world, yet you are completely comfortable to be around. The staff is friendly, efficient, and most professional. What a phenomenal experience.
More than I could have hoped for - thank you!
Tom MoorePortland - Portland, Oregon tm1016777@onemain.com

Who would have imagined that a chance meeting with Jofie in a Reno elevator would be the beginning of a collection of wonderful experiences?  First the 2005 safari, and then the return in 2007.  Once again we were with friends in Africa.  The Lake Lodge, with its ever changing animal views, is wonderful.  Monica, you and your staff truly pampered us.  Many thanks to Jofie for continuing Anne’s shooting and hunting education.    Your tireless hunting efforts and entertaining conversation were a delight.  We appreciate Abiud’s sharp eyes and stalking skills. To all the Lamprecht family we say thanks! We will return! Anne & Kirk Smith, N. Conway, N.H. Kirk: KirkWSmith@aol.com Anne: AnneS47427@aol.com

Joof and Marina, A brief description of our stay @ Hunters Namibia - "Perfect in Every Respect". Marina - your pride for Hunters Namibia’s shines through in everything you do - from the superb menus to the last housekeeping detail.
Joof, the lodge fire stories are delightful and your safari tempo is in perfect step.  I could not ask for better companionship and support. Thank you both for making Bonne’s introduction to Africa a joyful memory for us. Fondly, Michael Mahoney - Dallas, Texas mmahoney@sbcglobal.net  P.S.  Joof - we have verified that Johnny received his slice of Kudu Cake (for the 60+ inch kudu....). Accordingly, you may owe Henock something!

Dearest Marina, Joof, Didi and Prince Jack, When we borded our plane in Dallas bound for Namibia - I had no idea how absolutely enchanting it would be. Namibia, especially Rooikraal (Lamprechtland!) is truly God's secret hiding place - if He were to go on safari I know He would come here!  Everything here is erfect!
The past 10 days we have been greeted each morning with coffee and flowers - followed by a perfect breakfast in your cozy kitchen just like family. Marina - as you always say - "Oh my goodness!"  Your kindness and true "Southern" hospitality are overwhelming.  There is not a single detail left to chance!  Lamprecht magic: all you have to do is ask and 'poof' your request is granted. (The picture fairy and her group of gnomes are the kindest ever!)  We have loved every single part of our trip.  My visit to town was super!  Marina, you are a great shopping partner!Every aspect has been wonderful - hunting, siestas and especially sundowners @ the fire with plenty of 'Fleur du Cap!' (Aspirin Please!)
Joof - you made me feel like part of the hunting party - never an outsider. Thank you for answering my 5000 questions about Namibia.  You are truly a man of 1 million facts.  One of my favorite memories will be driving the hunting truck - my son will love it!  "If you could just pull forward to the "t-junction" (!) - don't worry it is very obvious (!),  and turn left! A sincere thanks to ALL the Hunters Namibia Staff.  They have treated us like royalty!  I have been so pampered - it is terrific.  I think I have forgotten how to cook.   Henock, Lachia and Anna are so kind!  Thanks for the lessons in Oshiwambo!  Walalapo!!
Johnny should get extra Kudu cake for keeping track of me on the truck and also answering my other 5000 questions!   BUY A DONKEY to you all!! I will treasure this vacation my entire life! Lots of love, Bonnie Mahoney - Dallas, Texas

Joof, Marina, Jofie and Monica, Thank you for making my first safari and Tal’s second safari the best.  We loved seeing ALL the animals and the landscape.  The sunsets, moon and stars were beautiful.  The food and service exceeded our expectations.  Tal was grateful that Johnny didn’t get tired of his 1001 questions! Tal and Amy Elliott - Victoria, Texas coyle90@suddenlink.net

Jofie and Monica, God bless you for a wonderful experience in your beautiful country!  Thank you for the hunting lessons and especially my zebra.  I’ll never forget your hospitality and how special you made everything!  Thanks for making our dreams come true! With Love, Tammy Rivers - Mt. Pleasant, TX
ctrivers@suddenlink.net

Words cannot express immense gratitude for the superior service, food, hunting and wonderful fellowship our experience in Namibia brought to each of us.  Richard and I didn’t ever feel that we could give all the kids the same wonderful experience we had 20 years ago, but we were amazed that everything surpassed out expectations.  Your family was so gracious and fun, yet so professional.  My journal will help me to remember all the great information and humorous stories for my future years.  Even the warmth of the hot water bottles cannot exceed marina’s hospitality for each individual member of the Elliott family.  Joof – you are the best driver and information tool that any non-hunter could have!  Jofie and Monica started us off fantastically with 2 relaxing days at the Lake Lodge. Jofie couldn’t have had more patience, humour or a great source of animal information for the Jay Elliott family.  It took me a while to pronounce Namibia correctly, but I will never forget your home or country.  May your family be blessed with good fortune forever. Love, Jan and Richard Elliott - Richmond, Texas ++ 1 -281-342-2202

Jofie, Thank you for a terrific safari.  All of the trophies are excellent and the kudu is exceptional.  How fortunate I am for getting such a special animal and certainly you made it possible.  All the best to you, Monica and all your staff.
Good hunting and love, Clint Rivers - Mt. Pleasant, TX ctrivers@suddenlink.net

Joof, Marina, Jofie and Monica, As a non-hunter I have thoroughly enjoyed myself. I truly appreciated your attitude towards animals – first a conservationist – second a hunter.  You have demonstrated great care and protection for Namibian animals.  Your hospitality is superb and I enjoyed the fascinating stories as well. Kind regards, Dee Elliott dserratella@yahoo.com

All - I sincerely appreciate all your warm, friendly (family) assistance.  During my short stay with you I began to understand more the true meaning of SAFARI.  I will always remember all the wonderful stories-  especially the jackal hunt.  I look forward to being with you again. Gary Lepow - Houston, Texas docgml@aol.com

Jofie and Monica, Thank you so much for a wonderful time!  Your hospitality is unmatched!  Great hunting, excellent trophies and a wonderful place! Andre Roux - Professional Hunter - Cape Town, South Africa - Dar El Kouti Safaris
andre@darelkouti.co.za

Joof, Marina, Jofie and Monica, How can we ever express our gratitude for making our first family safari so incredible?!  You opened your home to us and shared your beautiful country, Namibia, with us as well.  All aspects of this safari were just extraordinary.  Who would have though that all 4 members of this family would leave with trophies.  Jofie – your patience, guidance, and expertise showed us all what a professional hunter is.  I did not expect to leave Namibia a hunter, but you explained that hunting is not about killing random animals for sport.  Conservation of these magnificent creatures is primary.  Jay, Briscoe, Maddie and I all leave with fantastic memories (and knowledge) that you and Abiud have given us.  Monica – what a super surprise to find a fellow Texan here!  Thank you so much for your kind hospitality and willingness to take us shopping!  Joof and marina – Your lodge is beautiful, your staff friendly and helpful, and your love for Namibia and animals contagious. The four of us look forward to returning to Namibian and getting that elusive kudu. Thanks you again for providing this amazing experience for the entire Elliott clan – our best adventure yet! With much love, Jay, Heidi, Briscoe and Maddie Elliott (home is where the US Army sends us!) princess-of-quite-alot@hotmail.com +   jay.t.elliott@us.army.mil

Mr Joof, Mrs. Marin, Mr. Jofie, Miss Monica, Thank you for letting me stay at your home.  I am speechless because of all the animals that I saw in Africa.  It was a great experience shooting a big warthog with you, Mr. Jofie.  Thanks for letting me mom be able to shoot a zebra because she seemed really happy.  Thanks for all that you have done for us! Love from Maddie Elliott

Dear Joof, Marina, Jofie and Monica\thank you for the great time that I had during this wonderful safari.  I really enjoyed the Eland, Blue Wildebeest, Hartebeest and the very big Warthog.  I was really awesome going around in the wild looking for trophy animals.  I loved the food that Hennok served for us.  It was fun sitting around the fire listening to all the incredible stories that you guys told us. Love from Briscoe Elliott

Monica and Jofie, Thanks so much for being my new Namibian family!  Your home is beautiful and your kindness is beyond measure.  I had a wonderful time with y’all in your glorious country.  I look forward to a friendship of many years to come.  See y’all state side.  Very best wishes. To be outdoors is nice; To be hunting in the great outdoors, anytime and anyplace is even nicer; To be hunting in a beautiful location, in stunning Africa, is wonderful; To be in the varying beauty of this area of Namibia during perfect weather is unbelievable To do so in the company of, and while enjoying an unparalleled hospitality of, the Lamprecht family and staff, is beyond our limited “American” English. Thanks so much. Matt and I have created memories that we will share forever. Our dinner time conversations were a great opportunity for him and me both to see the world and its people in new and different ways. Thank so much for sharing your beautiful land and wonderful hospitality

Dear marina and Joof, Nowhere on earth is Nature's art moving the emotions like your Namibia, especially at the Lamprechts.  We leave with fond memories and look forward to the day we can return.  A big thank you to your wonderful staff.  Hennok, Lachia, Ingrid, Anna and, of course, Johnny.  We will miss all of you and of course the precious Jack Russells. Much love, Carol Simmons simmo77@bellsouth.net

Dear Marina and Joof, Our sincerest thanks to you both for an amazing and memorable time in Namibia.  For many reasons our being here together with you and wonderful new friends from the TNC is just what the doctor ordered.  As parents, and I know that we can all identify, we are sometime faced with challenges we never expected.  For us this is a time of extreme demands and to be in Namibia has helped us to put thing into perspective.  We received very good news during out trip, but somehow being here has helped to understand the meaning it all.  We shall never forget the great time, the laughs and the sharing.  I also believe that we all have the same dreams and concerns for our planet.  You are both so admirable.  Both in what you do every single day and what you represent as a couple.  It shows through and through.  I hope to return with our family sonme day.  That would be a great gift - xox Jacquie and Bennett Dorrance jacquie@cameldale.com + bdorrance@dmbinc.com

Marina and Joof, The lovely meals, incredible wildlife, gracious hospitality and fun adventures have made our stay here a bit of heaven.  Your love for your country shows is every act that you do.Harry and I are honoured and privilege to have met you all, and hope our paths cross once again. Fondly, Shirley and Harry Hagey sjbhagey@comcast.net  +  hrhagey@aol.com

Jofie and Monica, this was the hunt that made me finally eligible for the Big Five! The leopard was my most difficult trophy- but Jofie and safari company made it happen. For this you all get the "High Five"! Your hospitality, lodging quality, and ultimate gentlemanly rofessionalism made these 14 days most memorable.
